Jsem Fidan Namazova a pocházím z Ázerbájdžánu. Už dlouho mě baví práce s dětmi a chtěla jsem svůj čas a energii věnovat něčemu smysluplnému. Díky Evropskému sboru solidarity jsem se dostala jako dobrovolnice do Vsetína – lákala mě nová zkušenost, výzva i možnost růst osobně i profesně. Dobrovolnictví mi navíc umožňuje uplatnit mé znalosti z oblasti vzdělávání a sociální práce.
Ve Vsetíně jsem se hned cítila vítaná. Lidé mě tu přivítali s otevřenou náručí a už teď mám blízko k dětem i seniorům, se kterými pracuji. Každý den mě něčím obohatí – poznávám českou kulturu, učím se spolupracovat v týmu a často stačí jen dětský úsměv, který den udělá radostnější. Jsem vděčná, že tu můžu být, a těším se, co dalšího mě čeká.
Financováno Evropskou unií. Vyjádřené názory a stanoviska však představují názory a stanoviska autorů a nemusí nutně odrážet názory a stanoviska Evropské unie nebo Domu zahraniční spolupráce. Evropská unie ani poskytovatel grantu za ně nenesou odpovědnost.
From Azerbaijan to Vsetín: Fidan’s Volunteering Journey
My name is Fidan Namazova, and I come from Azerbaijan. I’ve always been passionate about working with children and contributing to communities in need. I chose to volunteer in Vsetín via the European Solidarity Corps because I wanted to be part of something meaningful and challenging, while also growing personally and professionally. This opportunity allows me to use my background in education and social work.
Volunteering in Vsetín has been a heartwarming experience so far. The community has welcomed me warmly, and I’ve already formed strong bonds with the children and the elderly people. my Each day brings a new lesson, whether it’s about Czech culture, teamwork, or simply the joy of making a child smile. I feel grateful to be here and excited for the months ahead, where I hope to keep learning, sharing, and making a positive impact.
